KLAMATH PROMISE NEIGHBORHOOD grant $$$ AT WORK
THE STUDENTS VOTED, AND HERE ARE THE WINNERS.
The Klamath Promise Neighborhood grant is improving the environment at Bess Maxwell Elementary. Recently the students and teachers voted on their favorite playground equipment and these are the two chosen designs. The installation will take place this Summer.

Over Spring Break the Bess Maxwell Multi-purpose Room (MPR) and staff lounge area received a fresh coat of paint. Mica Brooks, True North Community Organizer along with a team of True North Parent Leaders, that all have students at Bess Maxwell, are responsible for making all these improvements possible.

EQUIPPING STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS
By implementing positive behavior interventions, Bess Maxwell Elementary has reduced the number of student referrals by 50%.

Bess Maxwell Elementary school needs your help in developing and monitoring our School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and ensuring that our academic programs and budget align with student needs. Serving on the SSC is a meaningful way to contribute to our school’s continuous improvement and help shape the future of Bess Maxwell Elementary.
