Peer Mentoring Program

YAY! It's Funday Monday!

Every Monday trained highschool students come to visit and teach Second Step curriculum with 5th grade students at Bess Maxwell. The 5th graders learn valuable social and emotional real-life lessons on how to handle conflicts and be positive role models to their schoolmates. They watch lesson videos, discuss the topics, do the lesson activities, eat snacks together and play games! Mentoring sessions are typically from 2:30-4:00pm (1.5hrs) For more information or to sign up to be a Mentor or Mentee, contact Coastal Connections at 707-464-3060.
